Graphic design is a creative process – most often involving a client and a designer and usually completed in conjunction with producers of form (i.e., printers, programmers, signmakers, etc.) – undertaken in order to convey a specific message (or messages) to a targeted audience. The term “graphic design” can also refer to a number of artistic and professional disciplines that focus on visual communication and presentation. The field as a whole is also often referred to as Visual Communication or Communication Design. Various methods are used to create and combine words, symbols, and images to create a visual representation of ideas and messages. Numiko creates jon snows 2011 quiz year

“Digital agency Numiko has developed Jon Snow’s 2011 Quiz of the Year for the Channel 4 website.

The online quiz has been launched to support Snow’s new show looking back over the year’s news of earthquakes, riots, uprisings and royal weddings.

Leeds-based Numiko has created a timed quiz made up of 20 multiple choice questions that cover the biggest news stories of the year.

Players have 20 seconds to answer each question and once they have finished they can share their score on Twitter and Facebook.

Vicky Taylor, commissioning editor new media, news and current affairs at Channel 4, said: “”We know from past experience that audiences enjoy interacting with current affairs programmes to test their knowledge of events”

Cravens asks public make it snow office using twitter

The agency took a standard snow machine and built a new remote control for it, visitor insurance which allows tweets from the site to activate the unit. A live feed of the office is available on the website, which allows users to see the snow.Communications agency Cravens is offering the public the chance to make it snow in its office by tweeting the agency with the hashtag #makeitsnow.
